David Stargel is Vice President of Sales and a Senior Principal with The Complex Sale. He has extensive sales and sales management experience, including over 25 years in the high-tech and services industries.
Prior to joining TCS in 1995, David was Vice President of SAP America’s Southeastern District Operations with responsibility for more than $50 million in revenues and over 80 employees. This responsibility included all sales, consulting, education, and customer service functions in a 10-state region.
At SAP, David also served as District Sales Manager, working with a direct sales force responsible for the largest global accounts in the southern United States. During this period he was responsible for hiring, training, and leading the sales force in implementing methodologies and strategies for managing the complex sale.
From 1989 to 1992, David was one of the top Account Executives at Integral Systems. He achieved President’s Club every year and was the #1 Account Executive in the Southern Region two out of three years. Prior to joining Integral, David spent several years at MSA where he was a top producer in sales, sales management, and all aspects of customer service.
David received a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Georgia.
